Armed Off Duty Officer

Employment Type: Full‑time and Part-time 

Pay: $50 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Provide professional, armed security services during off‑duty hours for assigned clients and properties.
• Conduct regular patrols on foot, to deter and detect unauthorized activities.
• Enforce all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies while maintaining a courteous and approachable demeanor.
• Perform thorough incident reporting and documentation, including detailed narrative accounts and photographic evidence when required.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency responders as necessary.
• Maintain proper handling, storage, and accountability of firearms and other security equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and the public, ensuring a safe and secure environment.

Essential Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Current California State Guard Card or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm, decisive, and professional under pressure.
• Physical fitness to meet the demands of patrol duties, including the ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
• Proven integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Desired Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed armed security officer or in a related law‑enforcement role.
• Experience operating and maintaining a variety of security equipment and systems.
• Prior experience working in high‑traffic, urban environments, preferably in Los Angeles.
• Training in conflict resolution, de‑escalation techniques, and first aid/CPR is highly desirable.
