Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

;Design and develop electro-optical systems and subsystems
;Develop and test Gbps-class optical transceivers and communication systems
;Perform optical system testing, data analysis, and performance evaluation
Operate, troubleshoot, and repair electro-optical hardware and subsystems
Develop automated test setups using MATLAB and LabVIEW
;Support prototyping, integration, and validation of hardware components
;Document system designs, test results, and technical findings

;Electro-Optical Systems Design &; Testing
;Fiber-Optic and Electro-Optic Technologies
;Optical Communications Systems
;Laser Systems and Characterization
;MATLAB and LabVIEW
;Hardware Prototyping and Troubleshooting
;Scientific Programming (Python, C++, MATLAB)
;Test Automation and Data Analysis
;Strong understanding of fiber-optic and electro-optic components and systems
;5+ years of experience developing Gbps-class optical transceivers and automated test systems
;8+ years of experience with electro-optical test instrumentation
;8+ years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair of subsystems
;8+ years of experience with optical communications hardware
;5+ years of experience in hardware prototyping and evaluation
;8+ years of experience with laser characterization equipment
;8+ years of experience with polarized light in SM and PM fibers
5+ years of experience in scientific programming (Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, C++, etc.)

Education/Experience:

Master’s degree — Required
