Lead the Floor That Keeps Amazon FBA Shipments Moving -
Compliance, On Time, Every Day

Role: Outbound Area Manager
Location: Fort Worth, TX

At Coastal Trading Ventures, we're the outbound engine behind one of the fastest-growing eCommerce fulfillment operations in the country. We are the fifth largest seller by volume on Amazon, and our Fort Worth facility is scaling fast. Every day, your team sends multiple trucks of LTL and FTL freight into Amazon's FBA network, and every box and pallet has to clear Amazon's labeling and shipping requirements the first time.

This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment! You will own the KPIs that keep freight moving and set the pace for a growing outbound team.

Your Team

You'll lead the outbound floor team responsible for boxing, palletizing, labeling, and shipping high-volume Amazon FBA orders working closely with fellow Managers and other departments to keep staffing and shift operations running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee daily fulfillment of high-volume Amazon FBA orders, ensuring every box is prepared and labeled to Amazon's specifications
• Oversee accurate uploading of shipment details into Amazon's system, maintaining compliance with all shipping guidelines
• Arrange freight pickups and confirm shipping details with Amazon promptly for on-time delivery
• Oversee boxing and palletization, ensuring every box carries the correct Amazon shipping label
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as boxes labeled per person per hour and label accuracy
• Analyze weekly forecast projections and determine the productivity needed to hit building goals
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to build a high-performing team
• Collaborate with fellow Managers and other departments to optimize staffing levels and shift operations
• Manage and develop leads and associates
• Spearhead process improvement initiatives
• Uphold a safe working environment and track operational performance metrics
• Encourage employee engagement and cross-department collaboration

️ Your First 90 Days

• Days 1–30: Get to know your team and the current outbound flow. Shadow shipments end-to-end — from freight arrangement through Amazon labeling — to see where throughput or accuracy slips today.
• Days 30–60: Establish your KPI cadence. Set the baseline for boxes labeled per person per hour and label accuracy, and stand up the daily rhythm that holds the line as volume grows.
• Days 60–90: Drive a process improvement. Take what you've learned about where labeling or throughput breaks down and ship a fix your team owns going forward.

✅ What You Bring — Required

• Proven ability to oversee outbound operations within a warehouse or logistics environment
• Deep understanding of Amazon's shipping and labeling guidelines
• 3+ years of operational leadership and people management experience in a fast-paced 3PL fulfillment setting
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage teams effectively
• Expertise with inventory/warehouse management systems, with strong Excel/Google Sheets proficiency for reporting and analysis
• Ability to collaborate and strategize with business stakeholders
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and some holidays as business needs require

✅ Nice-to-Have

• Background in ecommerce, retail, or manufacturing fulfillment
• Experience with warehouse automation or robotics equipment
