Job Title: Software Developer - Full Stack Senior (Java with Oracle database)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Work Model: Onsite

Duration: 6 months

Extension: 1 Time

Must Haves

• 10+ years of experience as a designer and developer in the large-scale multi-client web applications
• 10+ year of hands-on working experience of Java development with Oracle or SQL database
• 5+ years of hands-on experience of RestAPI, React, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, NodeJS
• Working experience of RXJS, NextJS, VueJS
• Experience using Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of major architectures style (message oriented, reactive, event based)

Description / Responsibilities / Skills

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
• Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications, including developing detailed programming specifications.
• Writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
• Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages.
• Technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations.

• Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
• Experience in structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation and maintenance of applications
• Experience eliciting and documenting information from diverse business area stakeholders and subject matter experts

Full Stack Skills

• Knowledge and experience ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
• Knowledge and experience in design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment
• Experience with implementation of approved user interface, design and deployment of database

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
• Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications
• Experience with middleware and gateways
• Ability to provide post-implementation support and resolve any post-implementation technical issues
• Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project team
• knowledge and experience with blockchain and smart contract development (using solidity)

Technical Skills and Experience

• Knowledge and experience of microservice architecture as well as a demonstrated ability to apply core architecture principles.

Experience & Skill Set Requirements

Core Skills and Experience - 40 %

• Knowledge and experience of microservice architecture as well as a demonstrated ability to apply core architecture principles to enhance a product's extensibility and maintainability.
• Proven experience with WCAG and AODA
• Experience with Responsive Web application development

Technical Skills and Experience - 35%

• Knowledge of security gateways and protocols (JWT, Oauth2.0, SSL Certificates)
• Solid Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Object Oriented coding practices, including design patterns knowledge, refactoring, clean code.
• knowledge and experience with blockchain and smart contract development (using solidity) with good cursory knowledge with respect to the basic principles of cryptography.

Soft Skills- 20%
